In the beginning..........There were two girls who needed a hobby....

Hello,

Our names are D'J and Omi and we're starting this blog as a way of reaching out to the world around us and letting it know how we feel. The road to start this experience started as many things do; a random suggestion in the middle of Michael's Craft Store. And through a continuous, laborious and all around intensive soul-searching we finally found our niche. It took long hours of sitting in a coffee shop and random word associations to get it going.

This blog is going to be our ode to the comings and goings of life, personal experiences, and a slight mixed dose of cynicism and optimism.

Here's a bit about us:

DJ- I'm the sweetness of the pairing, full of plenty of random observational humor and random impulses. I firmly believe music is in every part of life and needs to be celebrated constantly. I'm a Cancer so I've been known to go from 0 to 60 in seconds but nothing really bothers me for too long. I've been called an odd combination of innocent and evil and I look forward to entertaining people with my thoughts.

Omi- I've been called bitch, intellectual, gregarious, reserved, outgoing etc... In reality I'm whatever you perceive me to be. What's important however is how I perceive me. This is my life's guide: Be, Love and Embrace all that is YOU; and my blog reflects such. I am exactly where I need to be, with those whose season it is to be in my life. This blog is an open door to my world... Come on in!
