Homemade Spaghetti Recipe

One of my favorite dishes from my childhood was Spaghetti. Now spaghetti isn't necessarily a completely personal or complicated dish but just the way my mom made it and the smells that come from the kitchen always remind me of home. Plus as a struggling college student its always great to make meals that you can enjoy for a long period of time. So here's the recipe

Ingredients:
Ground Beef
Spaghetti Noodles
Green Peppers
Onions
Garlic (One clove or jar)
Sausage/ Kielbasa
1-2 Jars of Tomato Sauce
2 cans of Tomato Paste
Spices( I personally used Garlic Salt, Onion Powder, and Nature Seasoning. All of these are used to season the tomato sauce and beef)

Instructions:

1.In a large pot, add the tomato sauce and both cans of tomato paste and put the stove on medium heat

2.Chop up 1/2 of the onion and the green pepper into small cubes

3.Cut the sausage in half and place them into a pan to cook. Once done chop them into smaller pieces and place into the large pot

  • If you have Kielbasa they don't need to be cooked they can just be cut up into small pieces and placed directly in the tomato sauce pot

4.Using the same pan that you fried the sausage add the beef to cook. Add some of the onions, green peppers, garlic, and some spices to taste

5.Allow the beef to cook thoroughly then add it to the large pot

6. Sauté the rest of the onions and the green peppers and add them to the pot.

7.Stir everything together

8.Follow the directions on the box to make the spaghetti noodles

  • For some extra pizzazz add cheddar cheese on top

Enjoy!!
