This is the last piece of my Wall of Vanity DIY series. Its kind of separated from the others because its technically not apart of that same wall; its in the bathroom. This idea also came from a Pinterest account which I will include the original link at the end.
So the things you need are a frame, metal sheet, fabric, magnets, some kind of adhesive( I used hot glue because it sticks but can also be pulled off if you make a mistake).
This is the project that made me feel like a beast when I got done. The first difficulty was getting the metal sheet. I got the frame from Hobby Lobby (The Motherland of Crafts) and its pretty good because they come in packages of two so you can just pick the size of the frame that you want to make then add the connectors.
So I got the metal sheet at the same place where I got the screen for the earring board, Home Depot. Once again, they don't cut metal there apparently but the sales associate showed me that the sheet could be cut by household scissors.
WARNING: Seriously people the end of the metal sheet are SUPER SHARP. Like brush past the end get cut sharp. Be very very careful if you decide to cut it yourself. I tried to wear oven mitts and I still sliced up my thumb and foot. Not a Game!
So anyways after cutting the metal a little less than the dimensions of the frame, follow the direction on the frame attachments to set up three sides of the frame. Leave one side of so you can slide in the board.
Cover the sheet with a fabric of your choice and attach it to the back. Once again I used hot glue but the original creator used a spray adhesive so its just really whatever you have on hand.

While the board itself is setting take all your makeup and hot glue the magnets on the backs of everything you want on display. For this, hot glue is probably the best bet because it when the container is empty you can peal the magnet off and put in on something else. For brushes and the like I got some cheap locker containers from the Dollar Tree and just added some extra magnets to increase the staying power. After that is just a matter of putting your makeup on the board and you're done!
